Ledger online
  1. Who is going to make me late this quarter?
  2. Drafted a chase for each of the seven, naming exactly what is missing.
  3. Ranked them by how late they will make you, not by how late they are.
  4. Seven chasers ready, ordered by risk. The Whitlock one is urgent — files in nine days, nothing received.
  5. Send it
  6. Queued for your review. Deadline board updated. No client contacted yet.
What it carries

What Ledger takes off your desk.

Records chased

Knows who owes what and how close their deadline is. Chases in order of risk, not order of age.

Gaps named

Not “please send everything” — the specific statement, the specific month.

Deadlines in view

Every filing date tracked, with what still needs to happen before it.

Routine questions drafted

The clarifications you send every quarter, written before you remember to send them.

A Tuesday, delegated · Accountant

From morning rush to evening wrap.

You don't manage the agent. You delegate, and it reports back — with everything it touched on the record.

You

Who is going to make me late this quarter?

  1. Checked twenty-three clients against their filing dates.
  2. Five have not sent records. Three of those file in under two weeks.
  3. Two sent records with gaps — missing bank statements for March.
  4. Drafted a chase for each of the seven, naming exactly what is missing.
  5. Ranked them by how late they will make you, not by how late they are.

Questions

The things people ask about Ledger.

Does it work with my ledger software?

Not yet. Ledger connects to Follow Up Boss, Google Calendar, Gmail and Drive today — it does not read your ledger, and it never posts to one. It drafts, chases and calculates from what you, your CRM and your inbox give it. More integrations come through the beta, prioritized by what members actually use, so tell us your stack during onboarding.

Do I have to connect a CRM at all?

Onboarding asks you to connect one, and the follow-up and status features need it — drafting from a client's stage and last touchpoint, and flagging clients whose records have gone quiet. The engagement letters, fee quotes, deadline reminders, and fee math are built-in skills that work with nothing connected.

Will it ever file anything, or contact a client on its own?

It never files, submits, or signs anything — there is no tool for it. Its standing instruction is to confirm with you before an engagement letter, deadline reminder, or chase goes to a client, and behind that instruction is a policy ceiling rather than a wall: at most fifteen agent-initiated sends a day, after which confirmation is mandatory. You can set that rule to require confirmation every time in the dashboard’s policy editor. It never states a filing position or gives tax advice — that is yours, every time.

What about confidentiality? My clients' books are sensitive.

Your agent is private to you. Every action it takes is logged and checked against your rules — and you can replay any of it. Wrasse staff cannot read your conversations or your clients’ records without your explicit authorization. We don’t train on your data. See the control overview for the full picture.

How does it decide who to chase first?

By how late they will make you, not by how late they are. A client who has sent nothing and files in nine days outranks one who has been slow for a month but files in June. The order is on the deadline board, and you can overrule it.

Can it handle the money side of an engagement?

It runs the math. Give it an hourly rate and hours, a fixed fee, or a monthly retainer, and it returns the breakdown — basis, any discount, tax, the total, and your pre-tax net. It never sets a price for you; the numbers are the ones you give it.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the dashboard, no questions asked. Your data exports on request — full activity log, every saved note, every draft.
